Guangzhou Yunmei Cosmetics Co., Ltd. is a contract manufacturer for brand owners, retailers and distributors that need OEM cosmetic production without handing over control of their formula. Based in Guangzhou, China, the company has operated for nearly two decades and covers nine product categories, from skin care sets and face care to makeup, hair care, men care and baby care. If you already have a formula, or want to co-develop one before production, the work starts with a technical brief and a sample.

What an OEM Cosmetic Project Covers

In an OEM arrangement, the brand defines the product and owns or controls the formula; Yunmei manufactures to that specification. We can also support co-development when a formula needs adjustment before it is ready for production. That can include fine-tuning fragrance, texture, skin feel and efficacy, then matching those choices to the right packaging and filling process. The scope covers Skin Care Set, Body Care, Eye Care, Face Care, Hair Care, Lip Care, Makeup, Men Care and Baby Care. For lipstick programs, options include creamy, velvet, matte and pearlescent textures, with liquid lipstick, solid matte and matte stick formats; market-tested formulas can be selected and fine-tuned to be exclusive to your brand.

From Formula Lock to Logistics

OEM cosmetic projects move through a controlled sequence so the approved sample and the commercial run stay aligned. The one-stop service covers:

  • Formula lock: confirm fragrance, texture, skin feel and efficacy, then freeze the specification for production.
  • Packaging sourcing: source compatible components and plan filling around the pack format.
  • Pilot: produce samples first; sampling always comes before a mainstream private-label run.
  • Mass production: schedule the approved formula on production lines.
  • Quality inspection: check against the agreed specification before release.
  • Logistics: support export preparation for buyers in Europe, America and the Middle East.

The sequence keeps decisions visible. Formula changes are handled before mass production, packaging is checked against the fill, and inspection points are agreed before the run begins.

Formula Ownership and IP

Your formula stays yours. When you supply a formula to Yunmei, the manufacturing brief is to reproduce it consistently, not to claim it. For co-developed projects, the agreed formula can be fine-tuned to be exclusive to your brand. That distinction matters for brand owners building a long-term product line: the commercial relationship is manufacturing, while formula control remains with the brand. Technical details can be discussed with the sales team before sampling.

Quality Control and Certifications

Yunmei works to US GMPC and EU ISO22716 standards, as stated by the company, and operates a Class 100,000 cleanroom as reported by the company. Quality inspection is built into the one-stop chain: the agreed specification is checked before release. The company is also a Guangdong high-tech enterprise (2021). Certificates available upon request. For brands that need documentation for internal review or market entry, the sales team can confirm what is available for the relevant product category.

Capacity for OEM Production

As reported by the company, the operation includes two manufacturing facilities totaling 30,000+ sqm, a 1,500 sqm R&D center, 35 production lines and a Class 100,000 cleanroom. Daily capacities are reported as 1 million sheet/eye masks; 260,000 units of creams, lotions, serums and cleansers; 50,000 makeup units; and 260,000 bottled units. Mainstream private-label runs typically start around 500–1,000 units per SKU, with sampling first; exact minimums depend on formula, packaging and category. Yunmei is also an 8-year Alibaba Gold Supplier (Custom Manufacturer).

FAQ

Can you produce from our existing formula? Yes. Provide the formula and the target specification, and Yunmei will sample against it. The formula remains yours throughout the project.

Do you help with packaging sourcing? Yes. Packaging sourcing is part of the one-stop OEM service, alongside filling, inspection and logistics planning.

What MOQ should we plan for? Mainstream private-label runs typically start around 500–1,000 units per SKU. Sampling always comes first, and the final minimum is confirmed once formula and packaging are defined.

Which export markets do you support? Buyers from Europe, America and the Middle East are served through the export process. The sales team can align documentation and shipping preparation with the destination market.

From First Sample to Repeat Orders

The first order proves the partnership; the second proves the system. After bulk approval, the formula record, packaging specification and inspection criteria stay on file with the account team, so repeat orders skip the sampling loop unless the brand requests a change. Capacity planning across the 35 production lines means reorders can be slotted without disrupting other clients' runs, and the same finished-product inspection standard applies to run number fifty as to run number one.
